Entering a new fitness center can be confusing and intimidating enough, but initiating a new wellness program can be absolutely overwhelming unless you have the right people to help you.

We know most people are out of their comfort zone so we work hard to make sure everyone feels welcome and at ease from their first step in the door. You will be introduced to other members and clients; taught correct and safe exercises, proper form and followed up with on a consistent basis to ensure you are making progress and settling in. Because we are small – you will NEVER get lost in the crowd.

The majority of our business (75%) consists of one-on-one training but we have several members that just want to come in and workout on their own.  Our general facility memberships can be paid monthly or quarterly and there are no long term contracts.

Separate from memberships, we offer one-on-one training, small group training, large group classes, hiking club and a trail running club, etc. If you just want to participate in classes, personal training, group training or special events you can pay for them individually or purchase a group package. You don’t have need to be a member to train one-on-one or participate in any of our group sessions, classes or clubs.

If you are in town visiting – come workout and pay a daily fee.  All guests of members can workout free of charge on Saturdays.

You have many choices for participation so come join us.

What does that piece of equipment do, and how do I use it?

No worries! All new members are given a thorough training session with one of our trainers. We will teach you how to set the equipment (strength and cardio), what exercises and equipment are recommended, and will answer any questions you have about the facility, your workouts, etc. We do not use sign-up sheets for equipment since we usually have available equipment. If you are waiting for a specific piece, however, simply let the person on the machine know that you wish to use the equipment when they are finished.

What if all the pieces of cardio equipment are being used?

There is a 20 minute time limit on all cardio equipment if someone is waiting. We do not use sign-up sheets for equipment since we usually have available equipment. If you are waiting for a specific piece, however, simply let the person on the machine know that you wish to use the equipment when they are finished. We have never had a problem with this. All of our members/clients are quite considerate of each other.  Our busiest time is in the early morning from 6:30am until about 9:30am. If you want a fast 30 minute workout before heading to work you should be fine working out at this time however, cardio equipment might be limited. If you want to have a longer workout (i.e. a long walk on the treadmill or cross trainer), we suggest you come mid-morning or early afternoon when we are less busy.

Are towels and lockers provided?

Yes we do provide towels but we ask that you do not take them home. Please use the smaller hand towels for your workouts and the larger towels for showers. This will help us with our laundry costs.  There is a towel hamper in each locker room where you can place your used towels. Locker areas are provided but since renovating our locker rooms we no longer have lockers with individual locks. There are individual drawers in the locker rooms or cubbies up front where you can store your personal items. If you have a concern about the safety of your possessions you are welcome to leave them in the office. We have never had a problem with items being taken but it is better to be safe than sorry.

Can I participate in group classes?

Yes, your first class is free.  You can then pay per class or purchase a group package.

Can I set up an appointment for a personal training session?

Ask us when in Training Partners or thru phone or email. You will then receive our training packet that includes various forms (medical history, personal fitness goals sheet, etc.) that will need to be completed before meeting with your trainer. This information provides the foundation from which we will build your program.  Most of the time we are pretty good at matching a client’s personality and fitness needs to the appropriate trainer but we strongly encourage our clients to work with various trainers.  Some of our clients train with a specific trainer and others train with several of us.  The choice is yours and don’t worry; our first priority is to make sure you are comfortable and happy in your workouts. We all work together – it’s a team effort.

When do I pay my dues?

Everyone is due by the 10th of each month. If you join in the middle of the month your dues will be pro-rated until the first of the month. You can pay by check, cash or credit card.
