Many of us (TP Trainers) are members and/or certified by the National Strength Conditioning Association.   This article provides sample meals to help avoid exercising on an empty stomach. The authors address research that supports the concept of not exercising on an empty stomach and the negative effects caused by exercising with an empty stomach.
